Updating your AskBoard Stages

Each Ask in DonorDock is assigned an Ask Stage to reflect its current status in your fundraising process. If your organization uses the AskBoard feature, these stages appear as lanes on the board, allowing your team to quickly see where each Ask stands and how close it is to completion.

Ask Stages helps visualize move management by showing both progress and probability.

By default, DonorDock includes the following Ask Stages:

  • Identify (20%)

  • Qualify (30%)

  • Cultivate (50%)

  • Solicit (70%)

  • Close (100%)

Each percentage represents the likelihood of a successful Ask at that stage. As an Ask moves across the board, the probability increases, helping your team forecast outcomes and prioritize efforts.

Each Board can be customized for different use cases and stages based on the type of Asks being created.
