Understanding the Sent Email Summary Page

After you send a bulk outreach email, DonorDock creates a Sent Email Summary Page where you can review the email, its recipients, and how the message performed.

Access the Sent Email Summary Page
  1. Navigate to Outreach > Emails.

  2. Select the Sent tab.

  3. Click the subject line of the email you want to review.

Summary Information

The Sent Email Summary Page includes details about the email itself, such as:

Field

Description

Sent On

Date and time the email was sent

Sent To

Recipient list used for the email

Sent From

Team member selected as the sender

Subject

Subject line of the email

Campaign

Campaign associated with the email, if applicable

Appeal

Public URL

Shareable browser-based version of the sent email

Email Statistics

The Statistics section provides an overview of how the email was delivered and how recipients interacted with it.

Statistics may include:

  • Total Sent

  • Delivered

  • Opens

  • Clicks

  • Bounces

  • Drops

  • Unsubscribes

  • Gift conversions

You can also review URLs that were clicked by recipients.

View the Group Email Activity Report

Click View Group Email Report to open a detailed Activity Report for the recipients of the email.

This report can be filtered to help identify contacts based on their email activity.

For example, you can use it to find contacts who:

  • Experienced a dropped email

  • Bounced

  • Clicked a link

  • Have no recorded opens

  • Received the email successfully

You can also use the Group Email Activity Report to create Marketing Lists from filtered email results.

Individual Email Activities

The bottom of the Sent Email Summary Page includes the individual email activities created for recipients.

Use the filter option to view activities by status, such as:

  • All Activities

  • Delivered

  • Bounced

  • Dropped

  • Opened

  • Clicked

Click the subject of an activity to view more information about that recipient's email activity.

This can be especially useful when investigating a bounce or drop because the activity may include additional information about why the email could not be delivered.

Refresh Email Statistics

Email statistics may continue to update while an email is being processed or as recipients interact with it.

Use the Refresh icon in the Statistics section to retrieve the most current information.

Cancel an Email That Is Still Sending

If a bulk email is still processing and you need to stop the remaining emails from being sent, click Cancel in the top right of the Sent Email Summary Page.

Canceling stops the remaining messages that have not yet been processed. You cannot recall emails that have already been sent.
